I allow elements of chance to dictate the composition of the painting. I begin each work by tracing paint directly onto the paper. From there, my process is highly technical and laborious, as I cover the surface of the work with straight networks of line and shape. Each piece has ten or more layers of transparent color. Layers that have the same shape and the same direction.

These works are about experiencing, getting rid of the ego and to reduce any need of expression to the repetition of the line. I wanted to overflow my mind in an attempt to freeing myself from thinking beyond gesture and breathing.
