AN ENDLESS WEAVE

The lines I paint make up an endless weave that is pure significant. The starting point is the white support. The lines extend vertically, from top to bottom. There is no end, only a process.

I am also interested in the color intensity in its chromatic density, the essence of color. If the line works as a possibility, color is its realization. It's about conscience, like being there in the very instant. I am thinking about the support space as a journey that starts within the line. Mind, body, and stroke together.

I make the lines next to each other so that they overlap and accumulate. To achieve this, I resort to acrylic ink dissolved in a medium that allows me to do all the necessary layers until reaching the desired color intensity. Acrylic inks dry quickly and helping me with the superposition of the lines without losing any precision.
