Estos primeros trabajos constituyen el germen de lo que luego será su serie “10 Billones de Líneas”. El uso de la línea que se repite una y otra vez surge en la artista de la compulsión por plasmar sobre el papel la necesidad física de llevar al extremo el gesto de borramiento. Las líneas son como un velo que omite y muestra al espectador aquello que carece de narrativa.  

Es  desde el color donde la trama se construye. Primero, al usar papel de pulpa teñida en diferentes colores como soporte. Experimentaciones que la llevarán a decantarse finalmente por el papel blanco. Segundo, el amplio registro cromático que emplea para construir sus tramas. Los colores son elegidos al azar porque la artista considera que sus dibujos surgen del encuentro entre el soporte y el lápiz.

These first works plant the seed of what will soon become her next series “10 Billones de Líneas”. The use of the line that constantly repeats itself time and time again comes out from the artist as the compulsion to convey on paper the physical necessity to take to its extreme the erasing gesture. The lines are like a veil that occult yet likewise shows the viewer what lacks of a narrative.

It is from color where the plot is built. First, by utilizing dyed pulp paper in different colors as a support. Experiments that will take it to finally permeate through the white paper. Secondly, the wide chromatic palette employed to build its plots. The colors are chosen arbitrarily because the artist considers that their drawings emerge from the encounter between support and pencil.
